MUSC needs your help in order to continue to offer soccer programs for MUSC players! It takes many volunteers to coordinate the MUSC soccer programs each year and MUSC is in need of new volunteers to help continue maintaining these programs in the upcoming seasons. Board meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month. Please consider volunteering some time to help continue the efforts as well as help to improve the programs offered to MUSC players. Please contact the nominating committee if you have interest and/or questions.
The term is 2 years beginning 3/1/2019. The current positions up for election are:
President The President shall be the Chief Executive Officer. Will issue the call for regular and special Executive Board meetings at which he will vote only to break a tie: shall serve ex – officio on all committees; shall see that regular elections are held in accordance with these Bylaws; shall ensure that all MUSC personnel are properly briefed in all phases of rules, regulations, and policies of the MUSC; and shall have the primary responsibility for maintaining liaison between this organization and other soccer associations.
Treasurer Shall dispense MUSC funds as approved by the Executive Board. Said money will be dispersed only after receiving a valid receipt. The treasurer shall keep an accurate and timely record of all money received and dispersed with an itemized report of same to be given at each regular meeting. The Treasurer shall be responsible for presenting a financial statement at the Annual meeting of the MUSC. He/she shall be authorized to sign checks on behalf of the MUSC.
Player Agent Shall be responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing the player development plan. This plan will include coaching license programs, professional training programs, training materials and coaches clinics that will be delivered to the coaches in MUSC.
Purchasing Agent Shall be responsible for the expenditure of all money as directed by the Executive Board. This will include but not be limited to all equipment, field preparation and repairs, awards, trophies, and patches. All expenditures will require delivery of valid receipts to the treasurer, before bill payment.
Information Manager This position will be responsible to develop and deliver information between the Executive Board and the general membership. This will include but not be limited to general information on functions of the MUSC, rules and other informative information, which will better educate the general membership. This position will also be responsible to develop all press releases to the media under the approval of the Executive Board. This will include such items as general MUSC announcements, standings, and scores.
Little Kicks Coordinator shall be responsible for all administrative duties and coordination pertaining to the u4 and u5 division.
Commissioners shall be responsible for all administrative duties pertaining to their division. This will include coordination of teams at the beginning of each season. The commissioner will maintain records and standings. Resolve conflicts related to games, rules, and player eligibility. Recommend approval of coaches. Referral of problems to the Executive Board as needed.

MILFORD UNITED SOCCER CLUB
U6/U8 INDOOR SOCCER SEASON
About the program: The newly redesigned U6/U8 indoor program will focus on key fundamentals while developing strong footwork skills, teaching field awareness and building team work. This program will run for 17 weeks throughout the winter months to enhance player improvement and build friendships.
• Program Dates: December 3rd, 2018- March 30th, 2019
• Practices: U6 will practice every Monday from 5-6pm, U8 will practice every Tuesday from 5-6pm
• Games: Game times will rotate every Saturday between 7am-2pm, *new this year* MUSC will play games against other indoor teams from surrounding towns
• Age requirements: U6 is open to those born in 2013, U8 is open to those born in 2012 & 2011
• Location: Goooal Sports, 1791 Stratford Ave in Stratford
• Equipment Needed- Each player must wear shin-guards and bring a number 3 soccer ball. Please come prepared with plenty of water for proper hydration.

About Little Kicks: MUSC’s Little Kicks program is a pre-school age introduction into the sport of soccer. This program is specifically designed for three and four-year-old children to learn the base fundamentals of soccer through fun activities and games. MUSC is now offering a Winter Training program for our Players.
The program consists of 10 one-hour sessions that will include SAQ, fitness, technical work and small sided games. The goal is to improve players first touch and decision making in tight place and give the player confidence to play at a high tempo. Registration is limited to first 12 per time slot .
Ten Sessions: Jan. 6th - March. 17th - SUNDAYS 9 AM - 5 PMCT - Speed School, Pepes Farm Rd. - Milford - The sessions will be limited to 12 players per hour. $160 per Player. Registration Will be Open Soon with Limited Availability
